Early in the week, I got a message from the sweetest sister about capturing her sister’s engagement. I drove out to Long Beach, NY to be a part of it. On a cloudy afternoon, Cristina’s family helped organize and patiently waited for her and Vinny to arrive in Queens, NY. While I waited in Long Beach for them to arrive I saw them hand in hand walking towards the set up Cristina’s family made. Time stood still as he took her hands into his, looking into her eyes with unwavering devotion. The murmurs of nearby seagulls and the faint laughter of children echoed in the background, creating a symphony of joy and anticipation. With a voice filled with emotion, he asked the question that would forever change their lives: "Will you marry me?" And in that idyllic moment, as the waves continued their eternal dance, she said yes, sealing their love amidst the beauty of a beach in Queens.
